Is it Legal to Have Tail Light Tinting ?
While it’s possible to purchase headlight tint and tail light tint in various colours, Australian laws specify that the light emitted from headlights must be white/yellow and the tail lights must be red. They also can’t block more than 15% of the headlight beam, otherwise they’re considered to be against the law. Rear lights must always be visible from 200 metres as well.
What does this mean for you? It means that our clear tints will offer your lights great protection on the roads, while our varied range of headlight and tail light tints will look good for photographic purposes but could be problematic if you get behind the wheel with the tints still on.
